Our story started with
Flo, Ra, Mica, and To
FloRaMicaTo isn’t just a name – it’s inspired by the animals who started it all: Flo the cat, Ra the dog, Mica the cat, and To (Topsy), a pet mini rabbit. Their love for play shaped what would become a brand dedicated to creating the ultimate dog toys.
In 2015, Tina, the creator behind FloRaMicaTo, set out to make fun, durable, and engaging toys – something she couldn’t find on the market. Armed with a sewing machine and a passion for crafting, she started making toys for hers and her sister’s dog, and soon for many more.
Since then, every toy has been handcrafted with care, designed for tugging, training, and interactive play. Whether it’s the Fluffy TaDa for training challenges or a classic tug toy, each design is tested by real dogs and handlers before reaching customers.
FloRaMicaTo isn’t a big corporation – it’s a one-woman passion project, fueled by creativity, love, and hands-on craftsmanship. Every toy is made to engage, excite, and last.

Choosing & Buying
Selecting the perfect toy depends on your dog’s size, age, and play preferences, as well as the purpose of the toy. Here’s what to consider:

- Puppies: Need soft, engaging toys that encourage play and confidence-building.
- Adult Dogs: Choose toys that match their play style – whether they love chasing balls, tugging, or using their nose for food rewards.
- What Does Your Dog Enjoy?
- Ball Lovers? Opt for toys that incorporate balls into tugging or fetching.
- Real Fur Fans? Some dogs respond best to toys made with real fur for added excitement.
- Food Over Play? If your dog prefers food to toys, choose a toy with a food pocket to motivate them.
- Squeaker Obsessed? Toys with squeakers can keep some dogs more engaged.
- Choosing Based on Training Needs
- For Puppies: First-time toys should have long handles and ideally real fur, especially for reserved puppies. Recommended options:

Ideal for dogs who aren’t naturally toy-motivated – since if a dog isn’t excited about the toy, training performance may suffer.

Yes! We design our toys with dogs of all sizes in mind, from tiny breeds to large, powerful dogs. Many of our toys come in different sizes to ensure they are comfortable and safe for your dog to play with.
For small dogs and puppies, we offer lighter, smaller-sized toys with soft materials and long handles to make tugging easy and fun. For larger dogs, we have reinforced, more durable options with strong webbing, sturdy handles, and larger biting areas.

Our toys are made for interactive play like tugging, chasing, and training not for unsupervised chewing marathons. If your dog tends to destroy toys when left alone, we recommend keeping these for playtime rather than letting them chew on them freely.

Each design is carefully crafted for interactive play, meaning they are perfect for tugging, chasing, and training but not meant for unsupervised chewing. We avoid small, loose parts that could pose a choking hazard and even offer specialty toys like the TaDa toy, designed as a safer alternative to mesh balls, preventing paws and muzzles from getting stuck. While our toys are built to last, no toy is indestructible, so we always recommend supervising play, especially with strong chewers.

Care & Maintenance
Most of our toys are easy to clean and can be washed in the machine at 30°C, including fabric toys and rubber balls. If the toy has artificial fur, the fibers may stick together after washing, but a quick brush once dry will fluff it back up. Some squeakers may stop working temporarily if they absorb water, but they usually dry out and work again.
For real fur toys, the best care is to let them dry after training and then brush off any dirt. If needed, they can be hand washed with mild detergent, but frequent washing may make the leather less flexible. While some people toss them in the washing machine, hand washing is the safest option for longevity.
